WHAT IS CHABAD LOFT/KAVANAH SPACE?
The Chabad Loft is the Dynamic Greenwich Village branch of the Chabad Lubavitch International outreach movement.
At its heart are Rabbi Yakov and Avital, along with their family, who warmly open their home each week for Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, Torah classes, lectures, and one-on-one guidance. Both raised in secular backgrounds, they have embraced Chabad’s spiritual philosophy and infused it into their daily lives. With genuine joy, warmth, and a deep sense of purpose, they foster a community rooted in meaningful connection and personal growth—ensuring that every person who walks through their doors feels seen, valued, and inspired.
The Kavanah Space, a project of Chabad Loft, is a vibrant hub for Jewish life.

It serves as a dynamic shul, a welcoming community center, an omakase sushi bar, an art gallery, and a learning center. Whether it's a large gathering of singles, couples, or families, or a more intimate setting, the Kavanah Space creates an atmosphere where every individual leaves feeling uplifted, connected, and spiritually enriched.
